Record Retail Growth in 2014 for Volkswagen Middle East
Volkswagen Middle East expands its retail network with a record number of showroom and service centre openings across the region this year Volkswagen Middle East has reported record growth across its retail network with the opening of six world-class showrooms and a series of state-of-the-art service facilities in the first half of 2014.The US$20 million development of the brand’s retail network reveals sustained demand across the model line-up in the Middle East, as Volkswagen remains committed to offering peerless German Engineering after more than 50 years in the region. Thomas Milz, Managing Director, Volkswagen Middle East said: “Service Excellence is our first priority and together with our local partners, we are committed to providing our customers with high quality products and unrivalled customer service through strategic investment in technology, after-sales and better accessibility than ever before with new and enhanced, world-class showrooms and service centres. “Our retail network’s record-breaking growth signifies our ongoing commitment to the Middle East. The retail network expansion includes the opening of six new showrooms in Beirut, Doha, Dubai, Erbil, Fujairah and Sharjah; the arrival of brand new service centres in Erbil, Muscat, Fujairah and Sharjah; and major enhancements to the existing network. With more customer touch points than ever before, the latest developments will be well-received by Volkswagen enthusiasts in the Middle East, ahead of the highly anticipated arrival of the powerful Beetle and the all-new Golf R this year. “We are confident in adding some of the Middle East’s most advanced showrooms and service centres to our growing portfolio of first-class facilities.

The network growth will continue throughout 2014, as Volkswagen Middle East prepares to break another record. Developers will begin construction of the world’s largest Volkswagen showroom and service facility in Kuwait this summer, while in Abu Dhabi, ground will be broken for a third Volkswagen showroom in the UAE capital with future facilities marked for development in Oman”.
