Job Purpose

To maintain a robust, secure, and scalable network that can fulfill the proper infrastructure to run business applications for Al Nabooda Automobiles. To carry out day-to-day maintenance of the network and related hardware. And to support the business users in achieving their overall business plan.

Accountabilities

IT Support: 

# Support in implementing network upgrades, enhancements, and migrations
# Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise, including implementing necessary fixes and improvements.
# Setup and configure Cisco switching.
# Setup and configure Cisco routers for efficient remote site connectivity.
# Support in designing the wireless system. The candidate will support configuring wireless networking that supports open or secured access.
# Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network security and optimize network performance.
# Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and end-users as required.

Network Security
# Configure, setup, and maintain Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, Cisco WLC, and Cisco CUCM in a secure way; monitor and maintain these devices from a security perspective.
# Undertake routine security preventive actions to avoid or mitigate threats that might harm the network.
# Conduct regular network audits and assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities or areas for improvement.
# Applying patches and backup systems.

Operational
# Manage and keep internal networks running, and implement preventive maintenance procedures.
# Maintain the backup procedure to safeguard all the network’s intellectual property, including configuration and metadata files.

# Regular checking of devices for deploying the most recent version of IOS or OS that is compatible with the appliances This includes switches, routers, WAPs, Cisco CUCM, Cisco WLC, and all IP-based appliances installed in the network.

# Develop and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

Education/Qualification

# MS degree or Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or any equivalent degree. ( Must be attested by the UAE Embassy & MOFA )

Experience (experience required for the job)

# 5-10 years of experience in the field of Networking
